There is not much difference between Mig and Tig.. they have same chemical composition.

If we try to find out the difference, it will be happended by the welding process.

MIG -> Gas Metal Arc Welding Process
Ar 98% + CO2 2% Gas, DC(+)
TIG -> Gas Tungsten Arc Welding Process
100 Ar Gas only, DC(-)

And Tig can get a little better mechnical properties than Mig.
